Magellan Health CEO Rene Lerer's 2009 pay rises 12% to $5.9M

Magellan Health reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 7, 2010.
In 2009, five executives at Magellan Health received on average a compensation package of $2.3M, a 47% decrease compared to previous year.
Rene Lerer, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.9M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2008. 36% of Lerer's compensation, or $2.1M, was in option awards. Lerer also received $1.7M in non-equity incentive plan, $914K in salary, $918K in stock awards, as well as $177K in other compensation.
Jonathan N. Rubin, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.6M, which increased by 57% compared to previous year. 33% of the compensation package, or $528K, was in option awards.
Karen S. Rohan, President, earned $1.5M in 2009.
Tina Blasi, Chief Executive Officer, received $1.3M in 2009.
Daniel N. Gregoire, General Counsel, earned $1.1M in 2009, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
