Marathon Petroleum reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 14, 2022.
In 2021, seven executives at Marathon Petroleum received on average a compensation package of $7.8M, a 2% decrease compared to previous year.
Michael J. Hennigan, Chief Executive Officer, received $21M in total, which increased by 36% compared to 2020. 67% of Hennigan's compensation, or $14M, was in stock awards. Suzanne Gagle, General Counsel, earned $4.7M in 2021, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Brian C. Davis, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, received $3.6M in 2021.
Donald C. Templin, Chief Financial Officer, earned $939K in 2021, a 87% decrease compared to previous year.
