Masimo reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 15, 2020.
In 2018, six Masimo executives received on average a compensation package of $4.2M, a 14% decrease compared to previous year.
Joe Kiani, Chief Executive Officer, received $15M in total, which increased by 6% compared to 2017. 60% of Kiani's compensation, or $9M, was in stock awards. Kiani also received $1.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $3M in option awards, $1.1M in salary, as well as $327K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $110,932 at Masimo. Therefore, the ratio of Joe Kiani's pay to the median employee pay was 136 to one.
Tao Levy, Executive Vice President, Business Development, received a compensation package of $2.6M. 40% of the compensation package, or $1M, was in option awards.
Bilal Muhsin, Executive Vice President, Engineering, Marketing & Regulatory Affairs, earned $2M in 2018.
Anand Sampath, Chief Operating Officer, received $2M in 2018, which increases by 7% compared to 2017.
Tom McClenahan, General Counsel, earned $1.9M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Micah Young, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.9M in 2018, which increases by 6% compared to 2017.
Masimo's fiscal year ends on January 1.
