Masimo CEO Joe Kiani's 2021 pay rises 5% to $16M

Masimo reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 4, 2022.
In 2021, five Masimo executives received on average a compensation package of $5.1M, a 3% increase compared to previous year.
Joe Kiani, Chief Executive Officer, received $16M in total, which increased by 5% compared to 2020. 55% of Kiani's compensation, or $9M, was in stock awards. Kiani also received $1.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $3M in option awards, $1.2M in salary, as well as $1.4M in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $101,212 at Masimo. Therefore, the ratio of Joe Kiani's pay to the median employee pay was 160 to one.
Bilal Muhsin, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $3.4M, which decreased by 1% compared to previous year. 53% of the compensation package, or $1.8M, was in stock awards.
Tom McClenahan, General Counsel, earned $2M in 2021, a 1% increase compared to previous year.
Micah Young, Chief Financial Officer, received $2M in 2021, which increases by 1% compared to 2020.
Tao Levy, Executive Vice President, Business Development, earned $1.8M in 2021, a 1% increase compared to previous year.
Masimo's fiscal year ends on January 1.
