Mattel reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 27, 2020.
In 2019, five Mattel executives received on average a compensation package of $7M, a 9% increase compared to previous year.
Ynon Kreiz, Chief Executive Officer, received $16M in total, which decreased by 8% compared to 2018. 46% of Kreiz's compensation, or $7.2M, was in stock awards. Kreiz also received $4.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $2.4M in option awards, $1.5M in salary, as well as $119K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $5,526 at Mattel. Therefore, the ratio of Ynon Kreiz's pay to the median employee pay was 2,808 to one.
Richard Dickson, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $7.7M, which decreased by 4% compared to previous year. 46% of the compensation package, or $3.6M, was in stock awards.
Joseph J. Euteneuer, Chief Financial Officer, earned $5.6M in 2019, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
Robert Normile, Chief Legal Officer, received $3.7M in 2019, which increases by 52% compared to 2018.
Roberto Isaias, Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, earned $2.6M in 2019.
