MBIA reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 23, 2022.
In 2021, six MBIA executives received on average a compensation package of $2M, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
William C. Fallon, Chief Executive Officer, received $4M in total, which decreased by 1% compared to 2020. 39% of Fallon's compensation, or $1.6M, was in stock awards. Fallon also received $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $900K in salary, as well as $310K in other compensation.
Anthony McKiernan, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2M, which decreased by 10% compared to previous year. 37% of the compensation package, or $750K, was in stock awards.
Adam T. Bergonzi, AVP and National's Chief Risk Officer, earned $1.9M in 2021, a 4% increase compared to previous year.
Jonathan C. Harris, General Counsel, received $1.4M in 2021, which decreases by 19% compared to 2020.
Christopher H. Young, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.4M in 2021, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Daniel M. Avitabile, AVP and MBIA Insurance's President and Chief Risk Officer, received $1.3M in 2021, which decreases by 14% compared to 2020.
