Medtronic CEO Omar Ishrak's 2018 pay rises 12% to $18M

Medtronic reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on August 24, 2018.
In 2018, five Medtronic executives received on average a compensation package of $7.6M, a 14% decrease compared to previous year.
Omar Ishrak, Chief Executive Officer, received $18M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2017. 46% of Ishrak's compensation, or $8.1M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Ishrak also received $240K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $2.9M in option awards, $1.6M in salary, $4.5M in stock awards, as well as $151K in other compensation.
Rob ten Hoedt, Executive Vice President President Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, received a compensation package of $6.5M, which increased by 21% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $2.6M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
Michael J. Coyle, Executive Vice President Group President Cardiac and Vascular Group, earned $5.7M in 2018, a 37% decrease compared to previous year.
Bradley E. Lerman, General Counsel, received $4.4M in 2018, which increases by 5% compared to 2017.
Karen L. Parkhill, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.6M in 2018, a 62% decrease compared to previous year.
Medtronic's fiscal year ends on April 24.
