Meritage Homes CEO Steven Hilton's 2020 pay rises 4% to $9.6M

Meritage Homes reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 1, 2021.
In 2020, five executives at Meritage Homes received on average a compensation package of $4.5M, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Steven J. Hilton, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.6M in total, which increased by 4% compared to 2019. 52% of Hilton's compensation, or $5M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Hilton also received $1M in salary, $3.5M in stock awards, as well as $44K in other compensation.
Phillippe Lord, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $5.7M, which increased by 12% compared to previous year. 49% of the compensation package, or $2.8M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Hilla Sferruzza, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.5M in 2020, a 12% increase compared to previous year.
C. Timothy White, Secretary, received $2.7M in 2020, which increases by 1% compared to 2019.
Javier Feliciano, EVP and CPO, earned $1.3M in 2020, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
