Meritor CEO Jeffrey Craig's 2018 pay jumps 29% to $7.8M

Meritor reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on December 14, 2018.
In 2018, five Meritor executives received on average a compensation package of $3.4M, a 28% increase compared to previous year.
Jeffrey A. Craig, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.8M in total, which increased by 29% compared to 2017. 52% of Craig's compensation, or $4.1M, was in stock awards. Craig also received $2.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $900K in salary, as well as $218K in other compensation.
Joseph A. Plomin, Senior Vice President and President Aftermarket, Industrial and Quality, received a compensation package of $3.1M, which increased by 69% compared to previous year. 42% of the compensation package, or $1.3M, was in other compensation.
Kevin A. Nowlan, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.5M in 2018, a 19% increase compared to previous year.
Chris Villavarayan, Senior Vice President and President, Global Truck, received $2.1M in 2018, which increases by 23% compared to 2017.
April Miller Boise, Chief Legal Officer, earned $1.6M in 2018.
Meritor's fiscal year ends on September 30.
