Facebook reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on April 12, 2019.
In 2018, five Facebook executives received on average a compensation package of $21M, a 4% increase compared to previous year.
Sheryl K. Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer, received $24M in total, which decreased by 6% compared to 2017. 78% of Sandberg's compensation, or $18M, was in stock awards. Sandberg also received $638K in bonus, $843K in salary, as well as $3.8M in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $228,651 at Facebook. Therefore, the ratio of Sheryl K. Sandberg's pay to the median employee pay was 104 to one.
Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $23M, which increased by 155% compared to previous year. 100% of the compensation package, or $23M, was in other compensation.
Mike Schroepfer, Chief Technology Officer, earned $20M in 2018, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
David M. Wehner, Chief Financial Officer, received $20M in 2018, which decreases by 12% compared to 2017.
Christopher K. Cox, Former CPO, earned $20M in 2018, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
