Facebook reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on April 9, 2021.
In 2020, five Facebook executives received on average a compensation package of $30M, a 61% increase compared to previous year.
Christopher K. Cox, CPO, received $70M in total, which increased by 16,551% compared to 2019. 98% of Cox's compensation, or $68M, was in stock awards. Cox also received $691K in bonus, $421K in salary, as well as $571K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $262,633 at Facebook. Therefore, the ratio of Christopher K. Cox's pay to the median employee pay was 265 to one.
Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $25M, which increased by 8% compared to previous year. 100% of the compensation package, or $25M, was in other compensation.
Sheryl K. Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer, earned $25M in 2020, a 9% decrease compared to previous year.
David M. Wehner, Chief Financial Officer, received $16M in 2020, which decreases by 24% compared to 2019.
Mike Schroepfer, Chief Technology Officer, earned $16M in 2020, a 26% decrease compared to previous year.
