Facebook reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 8, 2022.
In 2021, five Facebook executives received on average a compensation package of $28M, a 7% decrease compared to previous year.
Sheryl K. Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer, received $35M in total, which increased by 42% compared to 2020. 63% of Sandberg's compensation, or $22M, was in stock awards. Sandberg also received $849K in bonus, $955K in salary, as well as $11M in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $292,785 at Facebook. Therefore, the ratio of Sheryl K. Sandberg's pay to the median employee pay was 120 to one.
Christopher K. Cox, Chief Product Officer, received a compensation package of $29M, which decreased by 58% compared to previous year. 76% of the compensation package, or $22M, was in stock awards.
Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Officer, earned $27M in 2021, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Marne Levine, Chief Business Officer, received $26M in 2021.
David M. Wehner, Chief Financial Officer, earned $24M in 2021, a 51% increase compared to previous year.
