Microchip Technology reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on July 12, 2018.
In 2018, five executives at Microchip Technology received on average a compensation package of $3.1M, a 4% increase compared to previous year.
Steve Sanghi, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.9M in total, which increased by 8% compared to 2017. 57% of Sanghi's compensation, or $4.5M, was in stock awards. Sanghi also received $48K in bonus, $2.6M in non-equity incentive plan, $740K in salary, as well as $8.9K in other compensation.
Ganesh Moorthy, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $3.3M, which decreased by 6% compared to previous year. 68% of the compensation package, or $2.3M, was in stock awards.
Stephen V. Drehobl, VP, MCU8 and Technology Development Division, earned $1.5M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Mitchell R. Little, VP, Worldwide Sales and Applications, received $1.5M in 2018, which increases by 6% compared to 2017.
J. Eric Bjornholt, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.1M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Microchip Technology's fiscal year ends on March 31.
