Microsoft reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on October 16, 2018.
In 2018, five Microsoft executives received on average a compensation package of $15M, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer, received $26M in total, which increased by 29% compared to 2017. 65% of Nadella's compensation, or $17M, was in stock awards. Nadella also received $7.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.5M in salary, as well as $111K in other compensation.
Amy E. Hood, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $15M, which increased by 29% compared to previous year. 69% of the compensation package, or $10M, was in stock awards.
Bradford L. Smith, Chief Legal Officer, earned $14M in 2018, a 31% increase compared to previous year.
Jean-Philippe Courtois, Executive Vice President, President, Global Sales, Marketing and Operations, received $11M in 2018, which decreases by 39% compared to 2017.
Margaret L. Johnson, Executive Vice President, Business Development, earned $8.8M in 2018, a 27% increase compared to previous year.
Microsoft's fiscal year ends on June 30.
