MicroStrategy reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 16, 2010.
In 2009, seven executives at MicroStrategy received on average a compensation package of $1.3M, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
Michael J. Saylor, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.7M in total, which increased by 75% compared to 2008. 71% of Saylor's compensation, or $3.4M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Saylor also received $875K in salary and $485K in other compensation.
Jonathan F. Klein, General Counsel, received a compensation package of $1.2M, which increased by 22% compared to previous year. 65% of the compensation package, or $800K, was in bonus.
Paul N. Zolfaghari, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales & Operations, earned $965K in 2009, a 27% increase compared to previous year.
Jeffrey A. Bedell, Chief Technology Officer, received $778K in 2009.
Sanju K. Bansal, Chief Operating Officer, earned $755K in 2009, which is about the same as previous year.
Douglas K. Thede, Chief Financial Officer, received $648K in 2009.
Arthur S. Locke, III, Chief Financial Officer, earned $133K in 2009, a 87% decrease compared to previous year.
