MicroStrategy reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 16, 2020.
In 2019, five executives at MicroStrategy received on average a compensation package of $3.1M, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Phong Q. Le, Chief Operating Officer, received $6.8M in total, which increased by 29% compared to 2018. 80% of Le's compensation, or $5.4M, was in option awards. Le also received $650K in bonus, $667K in salary, as well as $59K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $91,653 at MicroStrategy. Therefore, the ratio of Phong Q. Le's pay to the median employee pay was 74 to one.
Lisa Mayr, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3.7M. 92% of the compensation package, or $3.4M, was in option awards.
Timothy E. Lang, Chief Technology Officer, earned $2.1M in 2019, a 30% decrease compared to previous year.
W. Ming Shao, General Counsel, received $2.1M in 2019, which decreases by 6% compared to 2018.
Michael J. Saylor, Chief Executive Officer, earned $1.1M in 2019, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
