Morgan Stanley reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 3, 2020.
In 2019, six executives at Morgan Stanley received on average a compensation package of $17M, a 12% decrease compared to previous year.
James P. Gorman, Chief Executive Officer, received $32M in total, which increased by 12% compared to 2018. 75% of Gorman's compensation, or $24M, was in stock awards. Gorman also received $6.4M in bonus, $18K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.5M in salary, as well as $41K in other compensation.
Colm Kelleher, Former President, received a compensation package of $20M, which decreased by 18% compared to previous year. 79% of the compensation package, or $16M, was in stock awards.
Daniel A. Simkowitz, Head of Investment Management, earned $14M in 2019, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
Jonathan Pruzan, Chief Financial Officer, received $13M in 2019, which decreases by 10% compared to 2018.
Eric F. Grossman, Chief Legal Officer, earned $11M in 2019, a 14% decrease compared to previous year.
Robert P. Rooney, Head of Technology, Operations and, received $9.7M in 2019.
