Morgan Stanley reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 8, 2022.
In 2021, six executives at Morgan Stanley received on average a compensation package of $20M, a 16% increase compared to previous year.
James P. Gorman, Chief Executive Officer, received $35M in total, which increased by 18% compared to 2020. 70% of Gorman's compensation, or $25M, was in stock awards. Gorman also received $8.4M in bonus, $2.5K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.5M in salary, as well as $510K in other compensation.
Edward N. Pick, Co, President, Head of Institutional Securities Group, and Co, Head of Corporate Strategy, received a compensation package of $28M, which increased by 40% compared to previous year. 60% of the compensation package, or $17M, was in stock awards.
Andrew M. Saperstein, Co, President and Head of Wealth Management, earned $19M in 2021, a 45% increase compared to previous year.
Daniel A. Simkowitz, Head of Investment Management and Co, Head of Corporate Strategy, received $19M in 2021, which increases by 38% compared to 2020.
Jonathan Pruzan, Chief Financial Officer, earned $17M in 2021, a 41% increase compared to previous year.
Sharon Yeshaya, Chief Financial Officer, received $5.3M in 2021.
