MSC CEO Erik Gershwind's 2018 pay rises 13% to $4.5M

MSC reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on December 19, 2018.
In 2018, five MSC executives received on average a compensation package of $1.9M, a 8% increase compared to previous year.
Erik Gershwind, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.5M in total, which increased by 13% compared to 2017. 38% of Gershwind's compensation, or $1.7M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Gershwind also received $900K in option awards, $741K in salary, $1.1M in stock awards, as well as $21K in other compensation.
Rustom Jilla, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.7M, which increased by 2% compared to previous year. 30% of the compensation package, or $505K, was in salary.
Douglas Jones, Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, earned $1.2M in 2018, which is about the same as previous year.
Steve Armstrong, General Counsel, received $1.1M in 2018, which increases by 10% compared to 2017.
Steven Baruch, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Marketing Officer, earned $988K in 2018.
MSC's fiscal year ends on September 3.
