National Oilwell Varco reported fiscal year 2009 executive compensation information on April 1, 2010.
In 2009, five executives at National Oilwell Varco received on average a compensation package of $3M, a 22% decrease compared to previous year.
Merrill A Miller, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $7M in total, which decreased by 28% compared to 2008. 39% of Miller's compensation, or $2.7M, was in stock awards. Dwight W. Rettig, General Counsel, received $1.7M in 2009, which decreases by 22% compared to 2008.
Robert W. Blanchard, Chief Accounting Officer, earned $1.4M in 2009, a 23% decrease compared to previous year.
