National Oilwell Varco reported fiscal year 2010 executive compensation information on April 7, 2011.
In 2010, five executives at National Oilwell Varco received on average a compensation package of $3.8M, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Merrill A Miller, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.3M in total, which increased by 32% compared to 2009. 38% of Miller's compensation, or $3.5M, was in option awards. Miller also received $2.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $950K in salary, $2.5M in stock awards, as well as $43K in other compensation.
Clay C. Williams, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3.3M, which increased by 22% compared to previous year. 31% of the compensation package, or $1M, was in option awards.
Mark A. Reese, Group President, earned $2.3M in 2010, which is about the same as previous year.
Dwight W. Rettig, General Counsel, received $2.2M in 2010, which increases by 31% compared to 2009.
Robert W. Blanchard, Chief Accounting Officer, earned $1.8M in 2010, a 27% increase compared to previous year.
