Navient CEO Jack Remondi's 2019 pay rises 13% to $7.8M

Navient reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 9, 2020.
In 2019, five Navient executives received on average a compensation package of $3.3M, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
Jack Remondi, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.8M in total, which increased by 13% compared to 2018. 64% of Remondi's compensation, or $5M, was in stock awards. Remondi also received $1.8M in non-equity incentive plan, $1M in salary, as well as $8.3K in other compensation.
Christian Lown, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $3M, which decreased by 2% compared to previous year. 40% of the compensation package, or $1.2M, was in stock awards.
John Kane, Group President, earned $2.3M in 2019, a 8% decrease compared to previous year.
Mark Heleen, Chief Legal Officer, received $1.8M in 2019, which decreases by 2% compared to 2018.
Steve Hauber, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, earned $1.5M in 2019, a 11% increase compared to previous year.
