Navistar reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on January 6, 2020.
In 2019, five Navistar executives received on average a compensation package of $4.8M, a 54% increase compared to previous year.
Troy A. Clarke, Chief Executive Officer, received $10M in total, which increased by 44% compared to 2018. 42% of Clarke's compensation, or $4.2M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Clarke also received $1.7M of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.1M in option awards, $1.1M in salary, $1.6M in stock awards, as well as $255K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $37,580 at Navistar. Therefore, the ratio of Troy A. Clarke's pay to the median employee pay was 265 to one.
Walter G. Borst, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $5M, which increased by 67% compared to previous year. 39% of the compensation package, or $1.9M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Persio V. Lisboa, President, Operations, earned $4.7M in 2019, a 65% increase compared to previous year.
William V. McMenamin, President Financial Services and Treasurer, received $2.2M in 2019, which increases by 46% compared to 2018.
Curt A. Kramer, General Counsel, earned $1.9M in 2019, a 61% increase compared to previous year.
Navistar's fiscal year ends on October 31.
