Netflix reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on April 22, 2022.
In 2021, six Netflix executives received on average a compensation package of $21M, a 4% decrease compared to previous year.
Reed Hastings, Chief Executive Officer, received $41M in total, which decreased by 6% compared to 2020. 97% of Hastings' compensation, or $40M, was in option awards. Hastings also received $650K in salary and $443K in other compensation.
Ted Sarandos, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $38M, which decreased by 3% compared to previous year. 52% of the compensation package, or $20M, was in salary.
Greg Peters, Chief Operating Officer, earned $20M in 2021, a 2% decrease compared to previous year.
Spencer Neumann, Chief Financial Officer, received $13M in 2021, which decreases by 3% compared to 2020.
David Hyman, Chief Legal Officer, earned $10M in 2021, a 3% decrease compared to previous year.
Rachel Whetstone, Chief Communications Officer, received $5.3M in 2021, which is about the same as previous year.
