New Relic reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on July 10, 2019.
In 2019, four New Relic executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, a 43% increase compared to previous year.
Lewis Cirne, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.3M in total, which increased by 36% compared to 2018. 78% of Cirne's compensation, or $3.4M, was in option awards. Cirne also received $455K in non-equity incentive plan, $416K in salary, as well as $55K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $220,810 at New Relic. Therefore, the ratio of Lewis Cirne's pay to the median employee pay was 19 to one.
Erica Schultz, Chief Revenue Officer, received a compensation package of $4.2M. 41% of the compensation package, or $1.7M, was in stock awards.
Mark Sachleben, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.5M in 2019, a 8% decrease compared to previous year.
James Gochee, Chief Technology Officer, received $1.9M in 2019, which decreases by 13% compared to 2018.
New Relic's fiscal year ends on March 31.
