News Corp reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on September 24, 2018.
In 2018, four News Corp executives received on average a compensation package of $6.4M, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Robert J. Thomson, Chief Executive Officer, received $13M in total, which decreased by 4% compared to 2017. 41% of Thomson's compensation, or $5.4M, was in stock awards. Thomson also received $5.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $2M in salary, as well as $421K in other compensation.
K. Rupert Murdoch, Chairman, received a compensation package of $5.7M, which increased by 1% compared to previous year. 45% of the compensation package, or $2.6M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
Susan Panuccio, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.8M in 2018, a 25% increase compared to previous year.
David B. Pitofsky, General Counsel, received $3.1M in 2018, which increases by 9% compared to 2017.
News Corp's fiscal year ends on June 30.
