News Corp reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on October 25, 2021.
In 2021, four News Corp executives received on average a compensation package of $11M, a 67% increase compared to previous year.
Robert J. Thomson, Chief Executive Officer, received $23M in total, which increased by 70% compared to 2020. 43% of Thomson's compensation, or $10M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Thomson also received $523K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $3M in salary, $9.1M in stock awards, as well as $388K in other compensation.
Susan Panuccio, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $8.1M, which increased by 63% compared to previous year. 45% of the compensation package, or $3.7M, was in non-equity incentive plan.
K. Rupert Murdoch, Chairman, earned $6.8M in 2021, a 101% increase compared to previous year.
David B. Pitofsky, General Counsel, received $4.7M in 2021, which increases by 30% compared to 2020.
News Corp's fiscal year ends on June 30.
