Symantec reported fiscal year 2007 executive compensation information on July 27, 2007.
In 2007, five Symantec executives received on average a compensation package of $3.6M.
John W. Thompson, Chief Executive Officer, received $4.8M in total. 74% of Thompson's compensation, or $3.5M, was in option awards. Thompson also received $350K in non-equity incentive plan, $800K in salary, as well as $109K in other compensation.
Thomas W. Kendra, Group President, received a compensation package of $4.2M. 33% of the compensation package, or $1.4M, was in option awards.
Kristof Hagerman, Group President, earned $3.7M in 2007.
Janice D. Chaffin, Group President, received $2.9M in 2007.
James A. Beer, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.3M in 2007.
Symantec's fiscal year ends on April 1.
