Symantec reported fiscal year 2022 executive compensation information on August 3, 2022.
In 2022, three Symantec executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 56% increase compared to previous year.
Vincent Pilette, Chief Executive Officer, received $14M in total, which decreased by 2% compared to 2021. 85% of Pilette's compensation, or $11M, was in stock awards. Pilette also received $1.2M in non-equity incentive plan, $886K in salary, as well as $14K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2022, the median employee pay was $94,195 at Symantec. Therefore, the ratio of Vincent Pilette's pay to the median employee pay was 144 to one.
Bryan S. Ko, Chief Legal Officer, received a compensation package of $12M, which increased by 197% compared to previous year. 92% of the compensation package, or $11M, was in stock awards.
Natalie M. Derse, Chief Financial Officer, earned $12M in 2022, a 92% increase compared to previous year.
Symantec's fiscal year ends on April 1.
