NuVasive reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 16, 2020.
In 2019, five NuVasive executives received on average a compensation package of $2.5M, which is about the same as previous year.
J. Christopher Barry, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.4M in total, which increased by 6% compared to 2018. 55% of Barry's compensation, or $3M, was in stock awards. Barry also received $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $800K in salary, as well as $125K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $111,880 at NuVasive. Therefore, the ratio of J. Christopher Barry's pay to the median employee pay was 48 to one.
Matthew W. Link, President, received a compensation package of $2.3M, which decreased by 20% compared to previous year. 50% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in stock awards.
Rajesh J. Asarpota, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.2M in 2019, a 38% increase compared to previous year.
Paul D. McClintock, President, U.S. Commercial, received $1.4M in 2019.
Nathaniel B. Sisitsky, General Counsel, earned $1.1M in 2019.
