GTX CEO James Breitmeyer's 2022 pay falls 49% to $2.4M

GTX reported fiscal year 2022 executive compensation information on May 16, 2023.
In 2022, three GTX executives received on average a compensation package of $1.4M, a 50% decrease compared to previous year.
James B. Breitmeyer, Chief Executive Officer, received $2.4M in total, which decreased by 49% compared to 2021. 45% of Breitmeyer's compensation, or $1.1M, was in option awards. Breitmeyer also received $223K in non-equity incentive plan, $580K in salary, $505K in stock awards, as well as $12K in other compensation.
Salim Yazji, Chief Medical Officer, received a compensation package of $962K, which decreased by 52% compared to previous year. 47% of the compensation package, or $449K, was in salary.
Gunnar F. Kaufmann, Chief Scientific Officer, earned $941K in 2022.
