PartnerRe CEO Patrick Thiele's 2008 pay slips 14% to $5.5M

PartnerRe reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on April 9, 2009.
In 2008, five PartnerRe executives received on average a compensation package of $3.9M, a 5% decrease compared to previous year.
Patrick A. Thiele, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.5M in total, which decreased by 14% compared to 2007. 26% of Thiele's compensation, or $1.4M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Thiele also received $683K in bonus, $1M in salary, $1.3M in stock awards, as well as $1.1M in other compensation.
Albert A. Benchimol, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $4.2M, which increased by 5% compared to previous year. 26% of the compensation package, or $1.1M, was in option awards.
Costas Miranthis, Chief Operating Officer, earned $4.1M in 2008, a 71% increase compared to previous year.
Bruno Meyenhofer, Chairman, received $3.1M in 2008, which decreases by 32% compared to 2007.
Scott D. Moore, Chairman, earned $2.8M in 2008, a 17% decrease compared to previous year.
