Plug Power reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on May 2, 2022.
In 2021, five Plug Power executives received on average a compensation package of $29M, a 301% increase compared to previous year.
Andrew J. Marsh, Chief Executive Officer, received $52M in total, which increased by 283% compared to 2020. 97% of Marsh's compensation, or $51M, was in option awards. Marsh also received $683K in non-equity incentive plan, $750K in salary, as well as $16K in other compensation.
Paul B. Middleton, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $26M, which increased by 390% compared to previous year. 97% of the compensation package, or $25M, was in option awards.
Sanjay K. Shrestha, General Manager, Energy Solutions, Chief Strategy Officer, and Executive Vice President, earned $26M in 2021, a 352% increase compared to previous year.
Gerard L. Conway, Jr, General Counsel, received $24M in 2021, which increases by 422% compared to 2020.
Dirk Ole Hoefelmann, General Manager, Electrolyzers and Executive Vice President, earned $19M in 2021.
