Progress Energy reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on March 31, 2009.
In 2008, six executives at Progress Energy received on average a compensation package of $2.9M, a 28% decrease compared to previous year.
William D. Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.4M in total, which decreased by 17% compared to 2007. 49% of Johnson's compensation, or $3.1M, was in stock awards.
