In 2019, five Proofpoint executives received on average a compensation package of $4.5M, a 72% decrease compared to previous year.
Gary Steele, Chief Executive Officer, received $8.4M in total, which decreased by 87% compared to 2018. 86% of Steele's compensation, or $7.3M, was in stock awards. Steele also received $621K in non-equity incentive plan, $531K in salary, as well as $2.5K in other compensation.
