Qualys reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 21, 2020.
In 2019, four Qualys executives received on average a compensation package of $6.1M, a 42% increase compared to previous year.
Philippe F. Courtot, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.8M in total, which increased by 8% compared to 2018. 50% of Courtot's compensation, or $4.9M, was in option awards. Courtot also received $313K in non-equity incentive plan, $382K in salary, $4.2M in stock awards, as well as $6.6K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2019, the median employee pay was $43,244 at Qualys. Therefore, the ratio of Philippe F. Courtot's pay to the median employee pay was 228 to one.
Sumedh S. Thakar, President and Chief Product Officer, received a compensation package of $7M, which increased by 15% compared to previous year. 93% of the compensation package, or $6.5M, was in stock awards.
Melissa B. Fisher, Chief Financial Officer, earned $4.5M in 2019, a 26% increase compared to previous year.
Bruce K. Posey, General Counsel, received $3.2M in 2019, which increases by 22% compared to 2018.
