Regions Financial reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 5, 2021.
In 2020, five executives at Regions Financial received on average a compensation package of $6M, a 14% decrease compared to previous year.
John M. Turner, Jr, Chief Executive Officer, received $14M in total, which increased by 5% compared to 2019. 50% of Turner's compensation, or $6.9M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings. Turner also received $2.4M in non-equity incentive plan, $994K in salary, $3.3M in stock awards, as well as $191K in other compensation.
John B. Owen, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $5.2M, which decreased by 20% compared to previous year. 38% of the compensation package, or $2M, was of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings.
David J. Turner, Jr, Chief Financial Officer, earned $4.8M in 2020, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
C. Matthew Lusco, Chief Risk Officer, received $3.3M in 2020, which decreases by 16% compared to 2019.
Ronald G. Smith, Head of Corporate Banking Group, earned $3.1M in 2020.
