Sabre reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 18, 2021.
In 2020, five Sabre executives received on average a compensation package of $4.6M, a 9% increase compared to previous year.
Sean Menke, Chief Executive Officer, received $11M in total, which increased by 20% compared to 2019. 80% of Menke's compensation, or $8.4M, was in stock awards. Menke also received $731K in non-equity incentive plan, $450K in option awards, $938K in salary, as well as $28K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2020, the median employee pay was $70,874 at Sabre. Therefore, the ratio of Sean Menke's pay to the median employee pay was 149 to one.
David Shirk, Executive Vice President, Sabre and President, Travel Solutions, received a compensation package of $4.3M, which increased by 20% compared to previous year. 73% of the compensation package, or $3.1M, was in stock awards.
Douglas Barnett, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.3M in 2020, a 8% decrease compared to previous year.
Wade Jones, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer, received $2.8M in 2020, which decreases by 2% compared to 2019.
David Moore, Chief Technology Officer, earned $2.2M in 2020.
