Seagate Technology reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on September 7, 2018.
In 2018, five executives at Seagate Technology received on average a compensation package of $5.8M, a 7% decrease compared to previous year.
William D. Mosley, Chief Executive Officer, received $9.3M in total, which increased by 17% compared to 2017. 55% of Mosley's compensation, or $5.1M, was in stock awards. Mosley also received $1.8M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.4M in option awards, $954K in salary, as well as $7.2K in other compensation.
Stephen J. Luczo, Chairman, received a compensation package of $7.8M, which increased by 150% compared to previous year. 72% of the compensation package, or $5.7M, was in stock awards.
David H. Morton, Jr, Chief Financial Officer, earned $4.4M in 2018, a 24% decrease compared to previous year.
James J. Murphy, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, received $3.8M in 2018, which decreases by 54% compared to 2017.
Jeffrey D. Nygaard, Executive Vice President, Global Operations, earned $3.7M in 2018.
Seagate Technology's fiscal year ends on July 1.
