Snap-on CEO Nicholas Pinchuk's 2020 pay rises 5% to $7.9M

Snap-on reported fiscal year 2020 executive compensation information on March 11, 2021.
In 2020, five Snap-on executives received on average a compensation package of $3.5M, a 5% increase compared to previous year.
Nicholas T. Pinchuk, Chief Executive Officer, received $7.9M in total, which increased by 5% compared to 2019. 39% of Pinchuk's compensation, or $3.1M, was in stock awards. Pinchuk also received $228K of change in pension value and nonqualified deferred compensation earnings, $1.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $2M in option awards, $1.1M in salary, as well as $195K in other compensation.
Thomas J. Ward, Senior Vice President and President- Repair Systems & Information Group, received a compensation package of $3.2M, which decreased by 4% compared to previous year. 29% of the compensation package, or $915K, was in stock awards.
Aldo J. Pagliari, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2.5M in 2020, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
Anup R. Banerjee, Senior Vice President-Human Resources and Chief Development Officer, received $2.1M in 2020, which increases by 5% compared to 2019.
Timothy L. Chambers, Senior Vice President and President- Snap-on Tools Group, earned $1.8M in 2020, a 24% increase compared to previous year.
Snap-on's fiscal year ends on January 1.
