Splunk reported fiscal year 2022 executive compensation information on May 2, 2022.
In 2022, seven Splunk executives received on average a compensation package of $13M, a 9% decrease compared to previous year.
Douglas Merritt, Chief Executive Officer, received $22M in total, which decreased by 21% compared to 2021. 86% of Merritt's compensation, or $19M, was in stock awards. Merritt also received $1.9M in non-equity incentive plan, $900K in salary, as well as $135K in other compensation.
Shawn Bice, President of Products and Technology, received a compensation package of $21M. 54% of the compensation package, or $11M, was in stock awards.
Teresa Carlson, President and Chief Growth Officer, earned $19M in 2022.
Jason Child, Chief Financial Officer, received $10M in 2022, which decreases by 13% compared to 2021.
Timothy Tully, Chief Technology Officer, earned $8.7M in 2022, a 25% decrease compared to previous year.
Scott Morgan, Chief Legal Officer, received $6.6M in 2022, which decreases by 14% compared to 2021.
Graham Smith, Chief Executive Officer, earned $3M in 2022.
Splunk's fiscal year ends on January 31.
