SPX reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on March 28, 2019.
In 2018, five SPX executives received on average a compensation package of $2.2M, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Eugene J. Lowe, III, Chief Executive Officer, received $5.3M in total, which increased by 8% compared to 2017. 33% of Lowe's compensation, or $1.8M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Lowe also received $843K in option awards, $846K in salary, $1.7M in stock awards, as well as $130K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2018, the median employee pay was $63,232 at SPX. Therefore, the ratio of Eugene J. Lowe, III's pay to the median employee pay was 84 to one.
Scott W. Sproule, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $1.6M, which decreased by 1% compared to previous year. 33% of the compensation package, or $540K, was in non-equity incentive plan.
J Randall Data, President, South Africa and Global Operations, earned $1.5M in 2018, which is about the same as previous year.
John W. Swann, III, President, Heating and Location & Inspection, received $1.4M in 2018, which increases by 30% compared to 2017.
John W. Nurkin, General Counsel, earned $1.2M in 2018, a 1% increase compared to previous year.
