SPX reported fiscal year 2021 executive compensation information on March 29, 2022.
In 2021, six SPX executives received on average a compensation package of $2.6M, a 21% increase compared to previous year.
Eugene J. Lowe, III, Chief Executive Officer, received $6.5M in total, which increased by 7% compared to 2020. 50% of Lowe's compensation, or $3.2M, was in stock awards. Lowe also received $1.1M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.1M in option awards, $953K in salary, as well as $88K in other compensation.
For fiscal year 2021, the median employee pay was $61,414 at SPX. Therefore, the ratio of Eugene J. Lowe, III's pay to the median employee pay was 106 to one.
Brian G. Mason, Former President, Transformer Solutions, received a compensation package of $2.2M, which increased by 54% compared to previous year. 58% of the compensation package, or $1.3M, was in bonus.
James W. Harris, Chief Financial Officer, earned $2M in 2021, a 73% increase compared to previous year.
J Randall Data, President, South Africa and Global Operations, received $1.8M in 2021, which decreases by 1% compared to 2020.
John W. Swann, III, President, Heating and Location & Inspection, earned $1.7M in 2021, a 6% increase compared to previous year.
John W. Nurkin, General Counsel, received $1.3M in 2021, which increases by 7% compared to 2020.
