Starbucks reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on January 24, 2020.
In 2018, seven Starbucks executives received on average a compensation package of $11M, a 39% increase compared to previous year.
Howard Schultz, Chairman, received $30M in total, which increased by 68% compared to 2017. 53% of Schultz's compensation, or $16M, was in option awards. Schultz also received $1.9M in non-equity incentive plan, $1 in salary, $12M in stock awards, as well as $349K in other compensation.
Kevin R. Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $13M, which increased by 17% compared to previous year. 50% of the compensation package, or $6.7M, was in stock awards.
Rosalind G. Brewer, Chief Operating Officer, earned $9.2M in 2018.
Scott Maw, Chief Financial Officer, received $6M in 2018, which increases by 4% compared to 2017.
John Culver, Group President, earned $5.9M in 2018, a 10% increase compared to previous year.
Clifford Burrows, Group President, received $5.6M in 2018, which increases by 4% compared to 2017.
Lucy Helm, executive vice president, chiefpartner officer, earned $3.4M in 2018, a 30% increase compared to previous year.
Starbucks' fiscal year ends on September 27.
