SunPower reported fiscal year 2007 executive compensation information on March 24, 2010.
In 2007, five SunPower executives received on average a compensation package of $5.5M, a 444% increase compared to previous year.
Thomas L. Dinwoodie, Chief Technology Officer, received $21M in total. 98% of Dinwoodie's compensation, or $21M, was in stock awards. Dinwoodie also received $90K in non-equity incentive plan and $243K in salary.
Howard J. Wenger, President, Utility & Power Plants, received a compensation package of $3.6M. 91% of the compensation package, or $3.3M, was in stock awards.
Bruce R. Ledesma, General Counsel, earned $1.3M in 2007.
Emmanuel T. Hernandez, Chief Financial Officer, received $803K in 2007, which decreases by 27% compared to 2006.
Thomas H. Werner, Chief Executive Officer, earned $529K in 2007, a 41% decrease compared to previous year.
SunPower's fiscal year ends on December 29.
