SunPower reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on September 29, 2011.
In 2008, seven SunPower executives received on average a compensation package of $5.9M, a 9% increase compared to previous year.

Thomas L. Dinwoodie, Chief Technology Officer, received $20M in total, which decreased by 3% compared to 2007. 98% of Dinwoodie's compensation, or $20M, was in stock awards. Dinwoodie also received $124K in non-equity incentive plan, $269K in salary, as well as $13K in other compensation.
Daniel S. Shugar, President, SunPower Corporation, Systems, received a compensation package of $8.3M. 95% of the compensation package, or $7.9M, was in stock awards.
Thomas H. Werner, Chief Executive Officer, earned $5.7M in 2008, a 974% increase compared to previous year.
Dennis V. Arriola, Chief Financial Officer, received $2.3M in 2008.
Bruce R. Ledesma, General Counsel, earned $1.8M in 2008, a 35% increase compared to previous year.
Emmanuel T. Hernandez, Chief Financial Officer, received $1.6M in 2008, which increases by 103% compared to 2007.
Howard J. Wenger, President, Utility & Power Plants, earned $1.4M in 2008, a 61% decrease compared to previous year.
SunPower's fiscal year ends on December 29.
