Synaptics reported fiscal year 2018 executive compensation information on September 17, 2018.
In 2018, five Synaptics executives received on average a compensation package of $3.2M, a 17% increase compared to previous year.
Rick Bergman, Chief Executive Officer, received $7M in total, which increased by 19% compared to 2017. 80% of Bergman's compensation, or $5.6M, was in stock awards. Bergman also received $345K in non-equity incentive plan, $323K in option awards, $700K in salary, as well as $46K in other compensation.
Wajid Ali, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $2.8M, which increased by 22% compared to previous year. 76% of the compensation package, or $2.1M, was in stock awards.
Kevin D. Barber, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Mobile Division, earned $2.2M in 2018, a 13% increase compared to previous year.
Huibert Verhoeven, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Internet of Things Division, received $2.1M in 2018, which increases by 19% compared to 2017.
Alex Wong, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations, earned $2M in 2018, a 7% increase compared to previous year.
Synaptics' fiscal year ends on June 26.
