Synaptics CEO Michael Hurlston's 2022 pay jumps 21% to $14M

Synaptics reported fiscal year 2022 executive compensation information on September 6, 2022.
In 2022, five Synaptics executives received on average a compensation package of $6.1M, a 25% increase compared to previous year.
Michael Hurlston, Chief Executive Officer, received $14M in total, which increased by 21% compared to 2021. 85% of Hurlston's compensation, or $12M, was in stock awards. Hurlston also received $1.5M in non-equity incentive plan, $700K in salary, as well as $7.4K in other compensation.
Dean Butler, Chief Financial Officer, received a compensation package of $5M, which increased by 51% compared to previous year. 82% of the compensation package, or $4.1M, was in stock awards.
Craig Stein, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile & IoT Division, earned $3.9M in 2022.
Saleel Awsare, Senior Vice President and General Manager, PC & Peripherals Division, received $3.8M in 2022, which increases by 12% compared to 2021.
John McFarland, General Counsel, earned $3.5M in 2022, a 1% decrease compared to previous year.
Synaptics' fiscal year ends on June 26.
