Target reported fiscal year 2019 executive compensation information on April 27, 2020.
In 2019, six Target executives received on average a compensation package of $7.7M, a 6% decrease compared to previous year.
Brian C. Cornell, Chief Executive Officer, received $19M in total, which increased by 10% compared to 2018. 72% of Cornell's compensation, or $14M, was in stock awards. Cornell also received $3.3M in non-equity incentive plan, $1.4M in salary, as well as $593K in other compensation.
John J. Mulligan, Chief Operating Officer, received a compensation package of $10M, which increased by 22% compared to previous year. 62% of the compensation package, or $6.5M, was in stock awards.
Michael E. McNamara, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer, earned $6.6M in 2019, a 23% increase compared to previous year.
Don H. Liu, Executive Vice President & Chief Legal & Risk Officer, received $5.2M in 2019, which increases by 20% compared to 2018.
Michael J. Fiddelke, Chief Financial Officer, earned $3.3M in 2019.
Cathy R. Smith, Chief Financial Officer, received $2M in 2019, which decreases by 65% compared to 2018.
Target's fiscal year ends on February 1.
