TD Ameritrade reported fiscal year 2008 executive compensation information on January 6, 2009.
In 2008, seven executives at TD Ameritrade received on average a compensation package of $7M, a 103% increase compared to previous year.
Joseph H. Moglia, Chairman, received $21M in total, which increased by 112% compared to 2007. 72% of Moglia's compensation, or $15M, was in non-equity incentive plan. Moglia also received $1M in salary, $4.9M in stock awards, as well as $18K in other compensation.
Fredric J. Tomczyk, Chief Executive Officer, received a compensation package of $14M. 77% of the compensation package, or $10M, was in option awards.
T. Christian Armstrong, Former Executive Vice President, Client Group, earned $5.2M in 2008, a 65% increase compared to previous year.
J. Joe Ricketts, Founder, received $3.2M in 2008, which increases by 34% compared to 2007.
Bryce B. Engel, Former Senior Vice President, Chief Brokerage Operations Officer, earned $2.8M in 2008, a 163% increase compared to previous year.
David M. Kelley, Chief Operating Officer, received $2.3M in 2008.
William J. Gerber, Chief Financial Officer, earned $1.2M in 2008, a 32% increase compared to previous year.
TD Ameritrade's fiscal year ends on September 30.
